Man this photo gives me the heebys. When shooting into the sun one tends to ignore the light meter as it struggles to produce a setting that captures detail in the bazzillion giggawatt orb. What I did here was completely the opposite and run with what it gave me, I thought hell you have to just go with it sometime. An early morning swagger out of bed was well worth it to catch some incredibly fun beach break peaks. It got better as the tide came in and the banks filled. I’ve had some super good waves on the west coast already this year and I hope to keep that up with some clean east coast walls.
