RS Watanabe

January 31, 2009

Watanabe’s will always be cool. They have been used on more cars out there than you’ve had hot dinners. Name any car and I bet some nut has put them on it. I wanted to post some of my favourites off their site that run wats. Take a gander::

.

Heres my favourite from the bunch. This R31 Skyline rolling 16×8.5 -6 on the front and 16×9.5 -19 on the rear.
Front: 225/45  Rear: 225/50
If this doesn’t make you want an R31, nothing will. On second thought, man I want an R31 coupe!

.

.

Close behind is this DR30 RS with Watanabe RS
Front: 15×8 0 Rear: 15×8.5 -6
195/60 all round

.

I think there are a few people out there that would say that Wats on a BNR32 is ugly or not period correct etc but I can’t help but think that this looks pretty good, bar a lowering etc.
16×9’s with 225/50’s

.

HGC211, Front: 14×8 -6 Rear: 14×10.5 -38
F: 175/60 R: 185/60

.

I’m a complete sucker for 240ZG’s and heres why…
Front: 14×9.5 -25 Rear: 15×10.5 -32
F:195/55 R:225/55
14/15 stagger is so awesome

.

GC10, Front: 15×8 0 Rear: 15×8.5 -6
F: 195/50 R: 205/50
Classier than anything

.

P510, 14×7.5 -3.5, 185/55 all round

.

We’ve all seen it before and I still like it.
Front: 16×9 -13 Rear: 16×9.5 -19
225/50 all round

.

B110, unknown wheels sizes. Such a clean body.

Those were my favourite out of the Nissans/Datsuns. If you have some time to kill, check out the user gallery at their site:
